The Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) will be making service changes due to the closure of the Yuma Palms Regional Center transfer hub. As a result of the closure, Orange Route 2, Yellow Route 95, Gold Route 8 will no longer serve the Yuma Palms Regional Center bus stop. Only Red Route 1 and Green Route 4 will continue to serve Yuma Palms Regional Center. The new transfer hub will be in downtown Yuma at the corner of 3rd Street @ Gila Street (200 Gila Street) and will be known as the Downtown Yuma Transit Center. This change will take effect on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Please call (928) 783-2235 or email jandoh@ycipta.az.gov for more information.

Effective September 1, 2012, all passengers that are either an member, employee, student or faculity of Arizona Western College, Northern Arizona University, Yuma Private Industry Council Charter High School, Aztec High School or Cocopah Indian Tribe must show a vaild ID with a "F 12" YCAT sticker in order to be eligible for a free ride on YCAT routes unrestricted. (Cocopah Tribe Members do not require a sticker).

The Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority will be discontinuing Gold Route 8 service on Saturday due to low ridership effective Saturday, July 7, 2012. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. There is no alternative service available at this time.

Avenue A is closed to all traffic in both directions between 32nd Street and Holly Drive. Green Route 4 is taking a detour via 32nd Street and then makes a right on South 8th Avenue and takes a left hand turn on Palmcroft Avenue and then continues west to Avenue A, makes a right turn on Avenue A in front of Smuckers Park and continues the regular route to the north on Avenue A.
The bus stop on northbound 32nd Street and Avenue A is closed. Estimated duration of this closure is 4 weeks from June 4, 2012.

YCAT and Greater Yuma Area Dial-A-Ride tickets are good through Saturday, June 30, 2012. Please use these tickets as they will no longer be vaild after this date. If you have tickets in increments of 10, you can enchange them for a 10-Ride YCATPass at the YCAT Bus Facility, 2715 East 14th Street, Yuma, AZ 85365 or by mailing them to the address above. Office hours are Monday-Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and you can take ORange Route 2 to the facility. LAST DAY FOR USING TICKETS ON YCAT AND DIAL-A-RIDE IS SATURDAY, JUNE 30, 2012.

Due to construction on Avenue C between 8th Street and 5th Street, Purple Route 6 will utilize 8th Street to May Avenue to Riverside Drive. There will be no service on Riverside Drive between May Avenue and Avenue C or on Avenue C between Riverside Drive and 8th Street until construction is completed.
